Photography Workshop in Niger

Posted on février 11, 2018 in News

In 2016, UNICEF Niger and I worked together on a photography workshop with migrants kids who tried to reach Europe by taking the road through Lybia and Algeria.

While, some of them decided to give up, others has been convinced by the social workers to stop the journey. All teenagers ( the youngest was 11), they decided to try their chance no matter the danger. Talking with the kids make us realized about the inhumane conditions they faced in the hope to have a better life in Europe. During those few days dedicate to photography, we tried to talk about their future and their dreams. A little breath of hope in their tough life… While transiting in Niger before to go back to their countries, thinking about the reaction of their families made them worry. In this world, those kids seem to never be welcome anywhere.
