Visa pour l’Image 2026 was a particularly significant and emotional edition. In Perpignan, the long-term project Virtual Marriages in Japan was presented as an exhibition and received the Visa d’Or Feature. The festival was also marked by the death of Jean-François Leroy, its founder and longtime director.
